Tor anonymises traffic through three-hop onion circuits. The one tor daemon does it all — install with Homebrew (tor): as a client it exposes a SOCKS proxy on :9050; configure it as a relay (ORPort) to carry traffic for others, or as an obfuscated bridge to help censored users connect. Crucially, you can host an Onion Service (v3 .onion) for any local site — point HiddenServicePort at this Apache/Nginx vhost to publish it anonymously. Manage settings in torrc.
