Socket detects supply-chain risk in open-source dependencies by analysing package behaviour — install scripts, network/filesystem/shell access, obfuscation and typosquatting — to catch malware and risky updates before they merge, via a GitHub App and PR comments. Use the socket CLI (npm i -g @socketsecurity/cli) or the API; keep the API token in Keychain.
