Sentinel is HashiCorp's embedded policy-as-code framework — enforce fine-grained, logic-based policies in Terraform (HCP/Enterprise), Vault, Consul and Nomad, e.g. guardrails on what infrastructure a terraform apply may create. Write .sentinel policies and test them with the Sentinel CLI; enforced by the HashiCorp platforms.
