Score (score.dev, CNCF) is an open-source, platform-agnostic workload specification — describe a workload once in score.yaml and generate platform-specific configs with implementations like score-compose (Docker Compose) and score-humanitec. Decouples how developers define apps from where they run; the binaries install via Homebrew or release downloads. Complements Humanitec and Backstage.
