GitLab CI/CD runs pipelines defined in .gitlab-ci.yml, with environments and deployments, on GitLab.com or a self-hosted instance (with runners) — it's a feature of GitLab, not a separate local install. Automate/monitor via the GitLab API or the glab CLI (brew install glab) for pipelines, jobs and deployments. To run jobs on this Mac, install a GitLab Runner (see Gitea Actions Runner / runners).
