GitGuardian detects and helps remediate leaked secrets (API keys, tokens, credentials) across repos, CI and the whole git history, with real-time monitoring and an incident workflow. Scan locally and in CI/pre-commit with the ggshield CLI (brew install gitguardian/tap/ggshield) authenticated to GitGuardian; also honeytokens and IaC scanning. Keep the API key in Keychain.
