Garage is a lightweight, distributed S3-compatible object store designed for self-hosting across modest, geo-distributed nodes — no single point of failure, multi-datacenter replication, and a small Rust binary. Configure a cluster, then use the S3 API for backups, static sites and app storage. A simpler, lower-footprint alternative to MinIO/Ceph; admin via the garage CLI and admin API.
