FreeIPA is an integrated open-source identity-management system for Linux/Unix — LDAP (389 DS) + Kerberos + DNS + a CA + host-based access control and sudo rules, with a web UI and the ipa CLI. The upstream of Red Hat IdM. Runs on a dedicated RHEL/Fedora/Rocky/Debian host (not macOS); manage it on a linked Linux server over SSH. Pairs with Keycloak for SSO on top of the directory.
