AutoPkg automates downloading, packaging and importing Mac software — recipes fetch the latest version of an app, build a pkg/dmg and hand it to Munki, Jamf, SimpleMDM or others, so patching stays current with no manual repackaging. brew install autopkg (or the pkg), add recipe repos with autopkg repo-add, then autopkg run. The workhorse behind Munki/MDM software workflows.
