ACA-Py (Aries Cloud Agent Python, now under OpenWallet Foundation) is a self-hosted agent for decentralized identity — create and resolve DIDs, and issue/hold/verify W3C Verifiable Credentials (AnonCreds, JSON-LD) over the DIDComm protocol, the engine behind many SSI deployments. Run via pip/Docker; it exposes an admin REST API to drive credential exchanges and connections.
