KeyRotate end user licence agreement

KeyRotate is licensed, not sold. This licence is between you and Enfour, Inc. Apple is not a party to it and has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support for KeyRotate. The same text is included in the app, under Settings.

1. Grant

Subject to your compliance with these terms and with the App Store's Usage Rules, Enfour grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use KeyRotate on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, including under Family Sharing where Apple permits it.

2. Restrictions

You may not rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute or sublicense KeyRotate. You may not copy, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble or create derivative works of it, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it despite this restriction, or an included open-source component's own licence permits it.

3. Open-source components

KeyRotate includes third-party components under their own licences, listed in the app under Help. Those licences govern those components and, where they conflict with this one, they prevail for the component concerned.

4. Ownership

Enfour and its licensors retain all rights in KeyRotate that are not expressly granted here, including all intellectual-property rights.

5. Termination

This licence ends if you breach it. On termination you must stop using KeyRotate and delete it. Keys you stored remain in your Keychain and remain yours; you can export them before deleting the app.

6. No warranty and liability

KeyRotate is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, and Enfour's liability is limited, both as set out in the Terms of Use. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Apple's role

Apple has no responsibility for KeyRotate or its content. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to KeyRotate, including product liability, legal or regulatory non-compliance, or consumer protection claims. In the event of any failure of KeyRotate to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this licence and may enforce it against you.

8. Export and government use

You may not use or export KeyRotate except as authorised by United States law, Japanese law and the laws of the jurisdiction in which it was obtained. If you are a United States government end user, KeyRotate is Commercial Computer Software under the applicable federal acquisition regulations.

9. Governing law

This licence is governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except that mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply.
